Build the Teams That Build the Region.
Are you a natural connector with a passion for finding the "right person for the right seat"? Thompson & Litton is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to serve as our primary brand ambassador and strategic hiring partner. In this role, you won't just fill vacancies—you will identify, attract, and integrate the top-tier engineering and architectural talent that powers our firm's success.
The Role: Strategic Growth & Engagement
As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage the full-cycle recruitment journey and shape the candidate experience. You will:
- Lead the Search: Manage recruitment from initial "meet" to final hire across our Civil, Structural, Architectural, Surveying, and MEP divisions.
- Bridge the Gap: Act as a trusted business partner to our Line of Service (LOS) leaders, providing market insights and defining role requirements to meet project-driven hiring needs.
- Cultivate Campus Relations: Lead our university outreach program, attending career fairs and developing strategic partnerships with top-tier Architecture and Engineering programs to fuel our internship pipeline.
- Master the "Passive" Hunt: Proactively identify mid-level talent and utilize high-level diplomacy to engage experienced candidates in the industry.
- Ensure a Seamless Start: Partner with our HR team to manage the onboarding process, ensuring every new hire feels integrated into the T&L culture and workflows from day one.
What You Bring
- Experience: Ideally 2–3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within a professional services or AEC (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) environment.
- Education: An undergraduate degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Emotional Intelligence: A high level of EQ and exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships across diverse backgrounds.
- Communication: The ability to distribute clear, unbiased, and compelling information to diverse audiences.
- Mobility: A valid driver's license and the ability to travel regionally (with occasional overnight stays) for career fairs and office visits.
Why Thompson & Litton?
- Be the Face of an ESOP: There is no better "selling point" for a recruiter than a 100% employee-owned firm. You'll be inviting candidates to become owners of the company they work for.
- Autonomy & Impact: You'll have the space to develop creative sourcing strategies and the authority to act as a consultant to our firm's top leadership.
- A Culture of Connection: We value the "human" element of HR. You'll be part of a team that prioritizes professional growth, work-life balance, and community impact.
- Professional Growth: Work directly with the CHRO and senior leadership to influence the long-term talent strategy of an established, multi-office firm.
