Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist leads the full life-cycle recruiting, and drives talent acquisition strategy
across Schmalz Inc and Schmalz Flexible Gripping by serving as a subject matter expert, and partnering
with the human resources team and hiring managers to attract top talent, strengthen hiring capabilities,
improve recruitment processes, and building sustainable talent pipelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition Leadership & Strategy
Serve as the subject matter expert for recruitment sourcing, selection, and hiring best practices.
Partner with the Director, Human Resources, to prioritize recruiting efforts and align hiring strategies
with business objectives.
Build scalable recruiting processes that create consistency across the organization.
Reduce reliance on external recruiting agencies through proactive sourcing and pipeline
development.
Recruitment Execution:
Lead full-cycle recruitment from intake to onboarding, ensuring a seamless candidate and hiring
manager experience.
Partner with hiring managers to define needs and develop targeted sourcing strategies.
Conduct market research to provide recommended compensation and recruitment approaches.
Create engaging job postings aligned with the Schmalz Inc. brand.
Source and pre-screen candidates using diverse channels.
Develop structured interview tools to support consistent, objective selection.
Manage interview coordinator, feedback, and communication through the process.
Hiring Excellence:
Train, coach and develop hiring managers on interviewing, candidate assessment, and selection best
practices.
Improve hiring quality, candidate experience, and recruiting consistency across the organization.
Talent Pipeline & Employee Branding:
During periods of lower recruiting activity, support the development and executive of early-career
programs, including internships and graduate hiring initiatives aligned with business needs.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with universities, colleges, trade schools, and community
organizations to create sustainable talent pipelines.
