Base Salary Range:
USD $22.11 - USD $26.55 /Hr.

In this role, you will...
The Talent Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the Talent Acquisition & Development function, and is responsible for the administration of programs that enhance hiring, employee development, engagement, and retention. This role works closely with recruiters, HR generalists, and department leaders to ensure smooth execution of talent initiatives.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Act as a resource for Talent Acquisition and Development team members at Mariner Finance. Support designated area of operations in day-to-day practices, including recruiting and onboarding inquiries.
- Ensure a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience by coordinating interviews, managing job postings, maintaining applicant data, creating employment offers, and overseeing pre-employment activities.
- Serve as a point of contact for applicants and hiring managers, providing timely updates and ensuring an excellent candidate experience.
- Consult with hiring managers about best practices for Applicant Tracking System (ATS) use, onboarding, recruiting and screening, and interviewing.
- Maintain candidate records, track progress through hiring stages, and ensure data accuracy in the ATS.
- Support recruitment marketing efforts, including social media posts, job fairs, and intranet communications.
- Ensures recruiting practices are in compliance with state/federal guidelines and internal processes.
- Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping personnel data confidential.
- Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area or to requests from employees, other company personnel, etc. within given time frames and within established policy.
- Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested or according to an established schedule. Compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate company personnel.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by following policies and procedures. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work place.
- May perform additional functions depending on market demand and staffing in order to provide consistent quality customer service.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- One (1) year of experience working in the field of recruiting, staffing, or Human Resources.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service with the ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality and urgency.
- Outstanding problem-solving, organizational, and project administration skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate professionally and effectively, verbally and in writing, with vendors and all levels of company staff.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to multi-task, change direction, effectively prioritize, and meet deadlines with both local and remote staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with an Applicant Tracking or HRIS system.
- Completion of an Associate’s Degree or two (2) years college coursework.
- Experience supporting recruiting initiatives in a multi-state worksite organization.
Hours of Work:
Monday through Friday. Work hours will depend on the business hours of the time zone serviced.
To the extent permitted by law, the Company may, in its sole discretion, change the work schedule to address business needs.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to move about. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
