Brief Job Description:
Data entry of typing new prescriptions and processing refills for patients.Prepare and repackage medications accurately. Record and charge supplies/medications to correct patient PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS Data entry. Submit refill requests to prescribers. Take inbound and outbound calls.Fill meds to be checked by Staff Pharmacists Maintain safety-integrity-professionalism of pharmacy Comply with policies and procedures of the pharmacy

SKILLS USED TO PERFORM JOB Alert Detail Oriented Strong Interpersonal Skills Ability to Prioritize Accurate CRITICAL DEMANDS Works well in small environment Team cooperation required at all times Able to push med cart and deliver to areas in hospital Able to lift and carry moderate loads (up to 25 lbs.) Able to handle constant interruptions Week-end/holiday/night/on-call shifts may be required
