Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP is seeking a temporary Project Assistant to join its Talent Management team in the Winston-Salem office. The Temporary Project Assistant will provide administrative and project support to the team with a primary focus on performance management activities, electronic file management, data entry, and HR process administration.
This position is eligible for up to 25 hours of work per week. The position is temporary and project-based, with an expected duration of 4 months (subject to project needs).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performance Management Support
- Assist with the administration of performance review cycles.
- Upload performance review materials into the firm’s HRIS and document management systems.
- Monitor review completion status and maintain tracking reports.
- Prepare and distribute performance review communications and reminders.
- Audit performance review records for completeness and accuracy.
- Support employee and supervisor inquiries related to performance management processes.
- Compile and organize review materials and documentation for supervisors.
Talent Management Administrative Support
- Enter and update employee information in HR systems.
- Assist with data validation and reporting projects.
- Schedule meetings and coordinate project activities as assigned.
- Assist with special projects related to compliance, records management, talent management, and process improvements.
- Research and compile information for TM initiatives.
- Support testing, implementation, and documentation of HR systems and processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Two years of experience preferred in human resources, administrative support, or project coordination.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency with AI tools and technologies is expected, including Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Copilot).
- Ability to learn HRIS and document management systems. Experience with UKG preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effective communicator who works well across all levels, asks thoughtful questions, learns processes quickly, and confirms expectations before executing.
