Rise Brands is seeking a Talent Manager who can thrive in a rapidly growing entrepreneurial environment. The Talent Manager will be responsible for managing Rise Brand’s talent acquisition initiatives through sourcing, selection and hiring/onboarding of the highest quality talent for the organization. The Talent Manager will partner with the leadership team and other stakeholders to develop and implement talent strategies that support Rise Brands company goals and will deliver a diverse and inclusive pipeline of candidates to the organization. Additional responsibilities will include special projects, participation in company HR strategy, and supporting outside business relationships. The Talent Manager will create a vibrant atmosphere, bringing energy, creativity, and innovative thinking to the ongoing development and growth of the brand. This role will play an integral part in the organization, its success, and its growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serves as the Talent initiative expert for Rise Brands including Brand management and Home Office roles.

Establish best-in-class talent acquisition processes, maintaining the organization of talent collateral, and continuous improvement of workflows and processes.

Manage Rise Brands’s talent initiatives through recruiting, sourcing, applicant tracking system administration, new team member onboarding, and special projects.

Creation of job descriptions for newly created positions and maintaining updates to existing job descriptions as needed.

Review applications, perform searches for qualified candidates, perform phone/video/in-person interviews, and communicate status to candidates and hiring managers regularly throughout the interview process.

Ensure a positive experience for all candidates (internal and external) that will position Rise Brands as a respected company and sought-after employer.

Clearly communicates details such as duties and responsibilities of the role, compensation, benefits, schedules, and growth opportunities to prospective internal and external candidates.

In partnership with the hiring manager and HR Business Partner, manage the thoughtful and thorough onboarding of all Team Members.

Support external partner relationships with HR system specialists, recruiting firms/staffing agencies, etc., as needed.

Consults with Rise Brands leaders on talent acquisition and candidate experience best practices, providing guidance when appropriate.

Collaborate across departments to develop and drive the execution of plans to increase team member engagement and reduce turnover.

Maintain and update documents, such as interview questionnaires, job descriptions, Predictive Index targets, etc., and ensure they are being utilized as intended. Establish and maintain effective initiatives for Team Member retention, promotion, and succession planning.

Partners with leaders and HR Business Partner on performance management approach. Strengthens outcomes by assessing compensation and/or succession decisions and provides guidance through the application of appropriate market and industry benchmarks.

Identify key talent metrics, monitor and analyze data, and proactively report findings to inform talent initiatives, successes, and areas needing improvement.

As a member of the HR Team, provide general administrative support and respond to inquiries/requests as needed.

Ensure confidentiality and professionalism are upheld by all when handling sensitive and confidential information.

Facilitate talent acquisition-focused training to ensure hiring managers at all levels of the organization are legally compliant, following processes, and offering an exceptional candidate experience.

Embody the core values of Rise Brands; act as a brand ambassador for the company with internal/external audiences at all times.

Assures integrity and consistency of Talent-related systems, processes, and policies, to meet organizational, regulatory, or legal requirements

Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Excellent relationship-building skills and the desire to provide exceptional customer service.

Working knowledge of compliance and basic HR functions in areas including, but not limited to, recruiting, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.

Excellent organizational skills and willingness to take initiative to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and make decisions within the scope of responsibility with minimal direct supervision

Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and business needs of multiple brands and execute full life cycle recruiting.

Ability to uphold a high level of confidentiality and ethics at all times.

Proven success in managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Professional verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly, concisely, and confidently communicate complex and/or confidential information to all levels of the company and external partners.

Strong interpersonal skills - Listening and informing others effectively; excellent negotiating and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external.

Comfortable working in a Mac environment; proficient in Microsoft Office suite; proven ability to learn new business applications, as needed.

Ability to travel in order to support new store openings, HR site visits, and training initiatives, as needed.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in designing and delivering metrics and reports.

Ability to work a daily M-F schedule with occasional evening and weekend support as determined by HR function and location business needs.

EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required

5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience required

Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) strongly preferred

Hospitality and/or service industry experience preferred
