A leading global financial services firm is seeking a detail-oriented and systems-minded Talent Research Associate to support a newly developing internal research function.
\n
This is not a traditional candidate-facing sourcing or recruiting coordination position. The Talent Research Associate will conduct structured research, review and organize candidate profiles, support talent-mapping projects, and help improve how internal information is gathered and maintained.
\n
The ideal candidate enjoys detailed research, working within databases and internal systems, organizing large volumes of information, and completing process-driven work with a high degree of accuracy.

Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Conduct research using internal applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn tools, and other research platforms
- \n
- Review, categorize, and organize prospective candidate profiles based on defined criteria
- \n
- Search internal systems to identify relevant candidates and talent populations
- \n
- Support talent-mapping, company research, and competitive research projects
- \n
- Compare candidate backgrounds, companies, industries, and career paths
- \n
- Maintain accurate and well-organized research files, trackers, and reports
- \n
- Summarize research findings for internal recruiting stakeholders
- \n
- Independently manage high-volume, detail-intensive assignments
- \n
- Identify opportunities to simplify repetitive workflows and improve efficiency
- \n
- Assist with building and refining processes for a newly developing function
- \n

Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Bachelor’s degree required; candidates graduating in Spring 2026 may be considered
- \n
- Approximately 0–3 years of professional, internship, or academic experience
- \n
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- \n
- Experience conducting detailed research or organizing large volumes of information
- \n
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- \n
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
- \n
- Ability to work independently and manage project-based assignments
- \n
- Highly organized, process-oriented, and comfortable navigating databases and systems
- \n
- Ability to remain focused while completing repetitive or high-volume work
- \n
- Strong written communication skills and ability to summarize findings clearly
- \n

Additional Preferred Experience

- \n
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Talent Insights, an applicant tracking system, or another research database
- \n
- Experience reviewing and categorizing large volumes of profiles, records, or other information
- \n
- Experience using Excel for tracking, sorting, comparing, or organizing information
- \n
- Interest in using AI or other technology tools to make repetitive workflows more efficient
