Position Overview
A leading industrial services organization is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support high-volume recruiting and onboarding efforts for general labor and production positions across an assigned region. This role is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, building strong talent pipelines, and partnering with hiring managers and candidates to deliver an efficient and positive hiring experience.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, is comfortable managing multiple priorities, and has experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR platforms. This position plays a key role in supporting workforce growth and operational success.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and hiring timelines.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking, and talent databases.
- Create and manage job requisitions within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Review resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and fit.
- Coordinate interviews, gather hiring manager feedback, and facilitate hiring decisions.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future staffing needs.
- Accurately document recruitment activities and candidate information within ATS platforms.
- Prepare, revise, and distribute offer letters to selected candidates.
Onboarding & Compliance
- Facilitate completion of new hire documentation, onboarding tasks, and required employment forms.
- Manage the onboarding process from offer acceptance through start date to ensure a seamless new hire experience.
- Monitor completion of pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screenings, onboarding paperwork, and system access requests.
- Track recruiting and onboarding activities using ATS and HRIS platforms.
- Review pre-employment screening results and escalate items requiring further review according to established policies.
- Partner with compliance and system support teams to resolve onboarding issues and process delays.
- Ensure onboarding procedures align with company policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and compliance reviews.
Candidate & Hiring Manager Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
- Address questions, resolve issues, and escalate concerns when appropriate.
- Provide guidance to field operations and hiring teams regarding recruiting and onboarding processes.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from application through start date.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support special projects and other Human Resources initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-volume recruiting and/or employee onboarding.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, production, warehouse, or light industrial environments preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
