Job Title: Tally Lead - RRCC - RHEL Admin
Location: Downey, CA 90242
Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Assignment type: Temporary (12 months w/ high chance of extension or hire)
Pay rate: $65-$70/hour
Responsibilities:- Administer Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, SUSE, Debian)
- Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and server operations
- Troubleshoot complex system and OS issues
- Maintain system security, patching, and vulnerability management
- Monitor performance, capacity, and system health
- Manage data center operations and infrastructure availability
- Develop technical documentation and system procedures
- Implement automation, scripts, and workflow improvements
- Coordinate system changes and maintenance (24/7 on-call support)
- Collaborate with engineers, developers, and security teams
Qualifications:- 7+ years Linux administration experience
- 4+ years scripting (Ansible, Shell, Python)
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience with security tools (McAfee, Cisco AMP, Nessus, Tanium, etc.)
- Experience with VMware (vCenter, ESXi)
- Bachelors degree in IT/Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Skills:- Experience with Kubernetes & OpenShift (on-prem & cloud)
- Kubernetes monitoring and performance tuning
- Project management experience
