Duties Description • Operate and drive a tractor-trailer unit to one or more destinations.

Shift: 5:00am - 1:30pm
Minimum Qualifications Possess and maintain a valid license to operate a Class A motor vehicle in New York State and meet requirements of the New York State Thruway Authority for tandem trailer operation. Appointees will also be required to obtain and maintain any driver's license endorsements required under the New York State Department of Transportation's regulations for the transportation of specific types of products in the course of their normal duties (an example of this would be a Hazardous Materials endorsement). Please see the Operational Needs section for endorsements you may need.
Pursuant to the Federal Omnibus Transportation Act, pre-employment drug and alcohol testing will be required. Once appointed to/selected for the position, random drug and alcohol testing will be required.
