The Tanker Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting non-hazardous liquid materials, including water and septic waste, to designated disposal sites. This role involves loading and unloading liquids, performing vehicle inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Team members can expect daily route assignments with typical trips under 100 miles, primarily local driving with some night work required.
Responsibilities
Drive tanker trucks to transport liquids safely and efficiently
Load and unload non-hazardous liquid materials
Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure operational safety
Operate pumps to transfer liquids such as water and septic waste
Document loads, deliveries, and relevant trip information accurately
Maintain communication with customers during deliveries
Adhere to safety regulations and company policies
Work as part of a driver team with daily route changes
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in tanker trucking
Valid CDL Class A license with Tanker Endorsement
Preferred Qualifications
Experience operating tank trucks and handling liquid loads
Skilled in route navigation and time management
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
Strong safety compliance and communication skills
