Support Center - Irving: Manager - Targeted Marketing is responsible for deepening relationships with customers by planning, developing, and executing email marketing strategies that lead to increased customer response.Major ActivitiesPlan approaches for targeted marketing activities that address all stages of the customer lifecycle and are aligned with company strategic, financial, and brand goals.Manage and lead the team to execute email campaigns, including managing the creative development process, guiding selection criteria, managing email testing, and ensuring produced emails meet specified objectives.Coordinate with key internal and external partners to ensure success.Manage analytic processes in partnership with CRM and Consumer Insights teams, including customer segmentation, test planning, results analysis, and application of actionable improvements.Lead and develop direct reports, setting goals, assigning projects, and measuring job performance.Other duties as assignedAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.Minimum Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesRequired knowledge, skills, and abilities include:Superior project management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational, time‑management, and prioritization skills.Excellent analytical and cross‑functional teamwork.Excellent leadership and motivation skills for team development.Experience in CRM or email platforms, e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Movable Ink.Minimum EducationBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Marketing background.Minimum Type of Experience the Job Requires5+ years of CRM or email experience.3+ years of project management experience.Experience running and optimizing large‑scale email or marketing programs.Experience developing programs to improve customer retention.Experience leading a team and managing external partners.OtherSelf‑motivated team member, thriving in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.Certifications with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Movable Ink are a plus.Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), paid time off, tuition assistance, generous employee discounts, and more.Michaels is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
