Job Description:

The Task Lead (Senior) for the Special Operations Forces Operations Training Readiness Integration and Governance (S-TRIG) serves as the primary onsite lead responsible for daily synchronization, execution oversight, and quality control of contractor workforce activities supporting Joint Force training and readiness operations at MacDill Air Force Base. This role ensures mission requirements are executed in alignment with Government priorities by maintaining real-time visibility of task status, workforce readiness, staffing coverage, and operational continuity. The Task Lead interfaces directly with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to communicate execution status, identify performance risks, resolve staffing or tasking issues, and ensure contractor activities remain aligned with Government intent while meeting cost, schedule, and quality standards.

Job Location:

Primary location of performance is HQ USSOCOM, MacDill AFB, FL. Other locations may be designated as required.

Responsibilities:

The S-TRIG Task Lead (Senior) provides onsite leadership for daily execution and synchronization of contractor workforce activities supporting Joint Force training and readiness operations. This role ensures tasking is properly assigned, tracked, and completed in alignment with Government priorities while maintaining visibility of workforce readiness, staffing coverage, and operational continuity at MacDill Air Force Base. The Task Lead serves as the primary interface with the COR, communicating execution status, identifying performance risks, resolving staffing or tasking issues, and ensuring contract compliance across cost, schedule, and quality requirements. Additionally, the Task Lead oversees workforce coordination, validates deliverable quality, manages travel execution and cost control, and ensures alignment between contractor performance and Government mission objectives.

Duties:

  • Provide onsite leadership for daily synchronization, execution oversight, and management of contractor workforce activities supporting Joint Force training and readiness operations at MacDill AFB.
  • Maintain real-time visibility of task status, workforce readiness, staffing coverage, and mission execution to ensure operational continuity.
  • Serve as the primary onsite liaison to the COR, providing execution updates, identifying performance risks, and resolving staffing, tasking, or compliance issues.
  • Translate Government direction into coordinated contractor tasking to ensure timely, cost-effective, and mission-aligned execution of requirements.
  • Monitor and enforce quality, timeliness, and accuracy of all deliverables in accordance with contract standards and Government expectations.
  • Validate and oversee travel execution, ensuring cost-effective travel planning, compliance, and alignment with mission requirements.
  • Track workload distribution and workforce availability to mitigate gaps, surge requirements, and execution risks.
  • Coordinate resolution of administrative delays, tasking conflicts, and performance barriers impacting contract execution.
  • Support weekly and recurring status reporting to Government and program leadership, including risk identification and mitigation recommendations.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy, version control, and proper archiving of all required contract deliverables and records.
  • Facilitate communication between onsite workforce and offsite leadership to ensure alignment of priorities and execution strategy.
  • Support continuous improvement of operational processes to enhance efficiency, accountability, and mission delivery performance.

Clearance Required:

As a condition of employment, ISA employees are expected to have or be eligible for a Secret-level security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Applicants must be able to submit documentation establishing U.S. Person status upon hiring. All ISA employees are required to uphold and maintain trustworthiness and suitability requirements of the U.S. federal government.

Experience Required:

Experience should include but is not limited to working knowledge of:

  • 12+ years of SOF experience.
  • 5–7+ years of leadership experience (within the last 10 years) of operations management or team leadership on a DoD / federal services contract with a minimum of 2 consecutive years' experience; OR Military or Civil Service equivalent experience in direct operations and/or team management.
  • Experience supporting Joint Force, CCMD, and/or TSOC-level operations, task execution, or readiness support activities.
    Proven experience serving in an on-site leadership role responsible for daily workforce synchronization, task tracking, and execution oversight.
  • Strong understanding of Government contract execution, including cost, schedule, quality control, and performance monitoring.
  • Demonstrated experience interfacing directly with Government representatives (e.g., COR) to communicate status, resolve issues, and ensure contract compliance.
  • Experience managing workforce readiness, staffing coverage, task prioritization, and operational continuity in a high-tempo environment.
  • Ability to monitor, validate, and coordinate travel execution, cost control, and mission-aligned personnel deployment.
  • Experience producing recurring status reports, performance updates, and risk assessments for Government and program leadership.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across dispersed teams and leadership levels.
  • Experience working in secure or controlled-access environments (e.g., MacDill AFB or similar DoD installations) is highly preferred.

Salary at ISA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The salary range for this position varies dependent on years of experience, relevant certifications and education. Salary is just one component of ISA's total compensation package for employees.
