Position Overview:
The Brand Ambassador is responsible for representing the brand by engaging customers, conducting tastings, and educating them about the products. This role focuses on creating a positive customer experience and increasing sales through knowledgeable and personable interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-store and event tastings, offering product samples to customers in a professional and engaging manner.
Educate customers on the brand story, production process, tasting notes, and key selling points.
Promote sales by encouraging customers to purchase products after sampling.
Set-up and maintain a clean, appealing, and complaint tasting station.
Accurately track sampling activity, customer feedback, and sales results.
Ensure all legal requirements and company guidelines are followed when sampling alcohol (checking IDs when appropriate, responsible service practices).
Serve as a positive representative of the brand at all times.
Qualifications:
Outgoing, Approachable, and confident engaging with the public.
Strong communication and sales skills.
Must be of legal drinking age (21+ in the US).
Prior experience in sales, customer service, or brand promotion preferred.
Knowledge of spirits, wine, or beer is a plus (training will be provided).
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events as required.
Working Conditions:
Tastings are typically held in liquor stores, bars, restaurants, or special events.
Standing for extended periods and light lifting (up to 25 lbs.) may be required.
Must comply with all alcohol sampling and serving regulations.
