Our client is a well-established and growing public accounting firm in the Denver metro area. We are searching for a CPA Tax Accountant to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys working directly with clients, preparing a variety of returns, and contributing to a collaborative, relationship-focused environment.
Target salary: $75k; negotiable
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for:
- Individuals (1040s)
- S Corporations (1120-S)
- Partnerships (1065s)
- Assist with tax planning and research
- Communicate directly with clients and respond to tax-related inquiries
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and filing requirements
- Collaborate with leadership and team members to deliver exceptional client service
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required
- 2+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Experience preparing individual, partnership, and S-corporation tax returns
- Strong knowledge of U.S. tax compliance regulations
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Experience with CCH Axcess Tax is highly preferred
