This opportunity is based in Salina, Kansas, within the firm’s largest office. The team is collaborative, flexible and family-oriented. The title and level can flex based on experience, making this a strong fit for an experienced Senior Accountant, CPA or other seasoned tax professional.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and review individual and business income tax returns, with a significant concentration of S-Corporations
• Provide year-round tax planning and consulting to individuals and business owners
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients
• Identify tax planning opportunities and help clients make informed financial decisions
• Support tax compliance and other accounting/advisory needs
• Work closely with a shareholder and other experienced members of the firm

What They’re Looking For

• 4+ years of tax experience, ideally within public accounting
• Strong individual and business tax preparation experience
• Ability to work directly with clients and communicate tax concepts effectively
• CPA strongly preferred, but experienced non-CPA tax professionals will be considered
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
• Agricultural tax experience is a plus, but not required
• Experience with tax and accounting platforms such as UltraTax, Thomson Reuters Accounting CS, QuickBooks Desktop/Online, Xero or similar systems is helpful.
