Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies and compliance matters
• Research and analyze tax issues and communicate recommendations to clients and firm leadership
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through responsive service and trusted advice
• Assist with tax projections, estimated tax calculations, and year-end planning
• Support IRS and state tax notice resolution efforts
• Collaborate with team members on complex tax engagements and special projects
• Stay current on changing tax laws and regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• CPA license a plus but not required 
• 2+ years of public accounting tax experience preferred
• Experience preparing individual and business tax returns
• Knowledge of trust and estate taxation is a plus
• Strong analytical, communication, and client service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines during busy season
