Tax Accountant

About the Position

Teads is searching for a Staff Tax Accountant to join the Tax Team. The Staff Tax Accountant will be exposed to US (federal & state) corporate income tax compliance, quarterly and year-end financial reporting, and some indirect tax compliance. This role will also offer a unique opportunity to be exposed to post-merger integration and tax planning opportunities. The Staff Tax Accountant will report directly to the Tax Manager and will be immersed in diverse tax matters.

Technical Skills

• Ability to efficiently gather and analyze data for the Federal and State corporate income tax return filings and respond to taxing authority inquiries
• Strong foundational knowledge of core accounting principles, including debits, credits, and general ledger journal entries.
• Exposure to tax accounting concepts, including book-to-tax adjustments and calculating deferred tax assets and liabilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite to help write tax memos in Word, create, update, and/or improve tax workpapers in Excel, and occasionally prepare presentations in PowerPoint

We're looking for someone with...

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or tax is required, CPA is preferred
• 1-2 year(s) of tax compliance/accounting experience
• Public accounting and corporate tax experience is a plus

What will make you stand out:

• Experience with NetSuite ERP system
• Experience with OneSource tax provision software
• Exposure to embedding AI tools (Gemini, Claude, GPT) in daily work
• Exposure to tax provisions for financial reporting
• Exposure to digital media & digital advertising

The pay range for this position is USD $70,000 to $83,000 annually including on target earnings. The actual amount offered may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities.
