TAX ACCOUNTANT

Tight knit and well-established boutique CPA firm seeks a Tax Senior to join their team. This is the ideal opportunity for a recently licensed or aspiring CPA with at least 2-5 years of public accounting/tax experience. Work schedule is flexible 4-day workweek during off-season, ramping up as tax season approaches. Company offers the following benefits, flexible schedule with unlimited PTO (if not abused), 401k (no employer contribution), clear path to equity partnership/ownership in roughly 2 years of proven performance. Company does not provide medical plan, but will be taken into consideration with regard to compensation.

Responsibilities:
-Review and complete a high volume of personal and business tax returns.
-Perform tax research.
-Review projections and become involved in planning for complex clients.
-Manage business and tax planning for personal and business clients.
-Analyze IRS notices and draft responses.
-Act as billing manager for all client engagement assigned.
-Act as key client contact person for assigned clients.
-Contribute to the client service by producing quality work with quick turnaround and attentive service.
-Establish good working relationships with all team members and existing clients.
