Client Overview:
Our client, a private real estate and development company in Orlando, is seeking a Tax Accountant to support their growing Tax team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$65k - $80k + Bonus

Position Overview:
The Tax Accountant will work with the Tax Manager to provide tax analysis, forecasts, estimates, and tax filings for various reports. The Tax Accountant will handle multi-state tax filings, property tax assessments, and property tax appeals.

Responsibilities of the Tax Accountant:
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end partnership tax returns.
  • Respond to all tax notices (Federal, State, Local).
  • Maintain tax basis schedules.
  • Work with investors and fund administrators on tax-related financial processes.
  • Special projects assigned by the Tax Manager.
Required Experience/Skills for the Tax Accountant:
  • 1+ years of experience in public accounting.
  • Eagerness and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Tax Accountant:
  • Experience with real estate and partnership tax is a plus.
  • Knowledge of property accounting highly preferred.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
  • A CPA license is preferred.
