Job Overview - Tax Advisor - 34046
Our client, a professional services firm who has been in business for more than 40 years, is looking for a Tax Advisor to join their team due to the retirement of valued teammate. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of tax laws and compliance standards and the ability to anticipate needs both internally and externally for tax return activities. In addition, theyll need to be a skilled communicator with a client relations background, attentive to detail, and knowledgeable of tax prep processes and procedures. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and organized individual who enjoys interacting with a wide variety of clients. Two to four years of tax compliance experience is necessary (individual/partnership/corporation/trust). CPA or Enrolled Agent candidate required.
Duties:
• Prepare individual, partnership, corporation and fiduciary income tax returns for review • Support clients in tax related activities • Manage communication with IRS, tax authorities or other parties • Prepare and e-file W-2's, 1099MISC, 1099NEC, and 1099INT
Requirements/Competencies:
• Solid understanding and experience with federal and state tax compliance • Prior experience preparing complex individual/s-corp/estate/partnership tax returns
