Tax Advisor (Sales-Driven) | Uncapped Earnings

Location: Florida (Final interview in-person) | Hybrid preferred

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000+ (1099, performance-based, uncapped)

What You’ll Do

You’ll operate as both a Tax Advisor and closer—guiding clients and converting opportunities.

• Lead client conversations to uncover financial pain points
• Educate and advise clients on tax strategies in simple terms
• Close high-ticket advisory engagements
• Manage and grow your own book of business
• Deliver ongoing advisory and maintain client relationships
• Collaborate with internal teams to execute tax strategies effectively

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3–5+ years of tax preparation or tax-related experience
• Strong client-facing experience (this is NOT a back-office role)
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently on camera and in meetings
• Sales mindset — comfortable asking questions, handling objections, and closing
• Strong understanding of tax concepts and basic financials (P&L, etc.)
• Highly responsive, organized, and accountable

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 1 year of Tax Preparations
• Experience with CRM - GoHighLevel
• Must have strong QuickBooks Online experience and knowledge
• Must have tax software experience; preferred knowledge in TaxWise

Preferred:

• PTIN, Enrolled Agent (EA), or CPA

Compensation

• 1099 contractor role
• ~20% commission per deal
• Commission on revenue generated from your book of business, with rates that increase based on performance and qualification.
• Uncapped earnings

Typical performance:

• $120,000 – $150,000 annually
• Earnings can increase based on performance
• High performers exceed this significantly
