This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who is eager to grow their tax expertise while supporting federal, state, and franchise tax processes within a collaborative Home Office environment.

This is an on-site position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and assist with filing federal and state income tax returns
  • Prepare and file franchise tax returns
  • Serve as a point of contact for state tax audit inquiries, with guidance from senior team members
  • Collaborate with operating divisions on tax-related matters
  • Support special tax projects and initiatives as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or actively pursuing certification preferred
  • 0-3 years of experience in a professional work environment
  • Strong attention to detail with solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Highly organized with strong documentation and problem-solving skills
  • This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
  • This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
