Responsibilities include:
- Managing multiple client accounting engagements from planning through completion
- Reviewing and overseeing monthly and annual accounting work prepared by staff
- Providing financial reporting, advisory, and operational guidance to business clients
- Assisting with tax planning and compliance as part of a comprehensive client service approach
- Reviewing financial statements and ensuring accuracy and quality across engagements
- Mentoring and developing staff while fostering a collaborative team environment
- Building strong, long term client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service
- Identifying opportunities to improve client processes using cloud based accounting technologies
What We're Looking For
- CPA license preferred
- 6+ years of public accounting experience
- Experience managing client relationships and leading accounting engagements
- A blend of Client Accounting Services (CAS) and tax experience is highly preferred
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to provide practical business advice
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a virtual, technology driven environment
