We are seeking a highly motivated Transactional Tax Associate Attorney to join our dynamic Tax Practice Group. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated transactional tax matters with a focus on leveraged finance and capital markets transactions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess exceptional analytical skills, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This position has a base salary range of:
$250,000-$450,000/per year.
Job Description
Provide strategic tax advice on a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity transactions.
Structure and analyze the tax implications of leveraged finance and capital markets transactions, including debt and equity offerings.
Advise clients on the tax aspects of corporate reorganizations, spin-offs, and divestitures.
Work with clients to optimize tax efficiencies in complex transactional structures while addressing business constraints. Collaborate with other practice groups to deliver seamless, multidisciplinary support on high-value transactions. Draft and negotiate tax-related provisions in transactional documents.
Conduct legal research and provide opinions on complex tax issues, including those requiring IRS guidance.
