About the Role

As Senior Tax Associate, you will prepare and manage a broad range of tax returns for individuals, families, and closely held businesses. You’ll play an important role in maintaining client confidence, ensuring accuracy, and helping the firm continue its reputation for excellent service.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys real tax work, steady responsibility, and being relied upon.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and California tax returns for individuals and business clients
• Handle 1040 returns including Schedules A, C, D, and E
• Prepare 1120, 1120-S, and 1065 returns
• Assist with annual information reporting including W-2s and 1099s
• Review client records and organize supporting documentation
• Reconcile income, expenses, and financial details for accurate filings
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding needed information
• Stay current on tax law updates affecting common filings
• Help maintain efficient workflow during filing seasons
