Tax Manager - Global Compliance & Tax Reporting


Our client is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to - Global Compliance & Tax Reporting lead and drive the company's global tax compliance process. The Tax Manager - Global Compliance & Tax Reporting role serves as the central point of coordination for outside tax advisors and is responsible for managing global tax compliance, quarterly tax provision activities, tax account reconciliations and tax reporting across a rapidly growing multinational organization. This is a high impact opportunity for a tax professional who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys working independently. This is not a role for someone looking to learn the fundamentals of tax on the job. A successful Tax Manager Global Compliance & Tax Reporting will bring a strong technical foundation and be ready to contribute immediately.

Salary - $150,000-$170,000

Responsibilities of the Tax Manager - Global Compliance & Reporting

• 
  
• Global Tax Compliance - lead and manage the global income tax compliance process across US, federal, state and foreign jurisdictions
• 
  
• Tax Provision & Reporting - review and support quarterly and annual income tax provisions under ASC 740
• 
  
• International Tax & Strategic Projects - support foreign tax compliance and reporting activities across global entities
• 
  
• Leadership & Process Improvement - manage multiple concurrent workstreams across approximately 80 global entities
• 
  

Qualifications of the Tax Manager - Global Compliance & Reporting

• 
  
• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 
  
• 7+ years of progressive corporate income tax experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting
• 
  
• Strong experience with ASC 740 tax provisions
• 
  
• Experience reviewing tax returns, provision and tax reporting workpapers
• 
  
• Advanced Excel skills
•
