BG Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Tax Credit Leasing Consultant to join a dynamic multifamily housing community in the Cleveland area. This is an excellent opportunity for a leasing professional with affordable housing experience who is looking to grow their career with a respected property management team.
Position Details
- Role: Tax Credit Leasing Consultant
- Location: Cleveland, OH 44120
- Pay: $20/hr
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5PM
- Start Date: ASAP
- Opportunity Type: Contract-to-hire opportunity
Responsibilities:
- Conduct leasing activities including tours, applications, and resident follow-up
- Assist with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) compliance and leasing requirements
- Verify applicant eligibility and income documentation
- Maintain accurate resident files and leasing records
- Deliver outstanding customer service to current and prospective residents
- Support occupancy goals and resident retention efforts
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company policies
Qualifications:
- Previous multifamily leasing experience required
- Tax Credit/Affordable Housing experience strongly preferred
- HCCP (Housing Credit Certified Professional) designation preferred
- Knowledge of LIHTC regulations and compliance standards
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in property management software is a plus
