BG Staffing is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Tax Credit Leasing Consultant to support an affordable housing community in Denton, TX 76208. This role is ideal for a leasing professional with Tax Credit experience who enjoys helping residents, maintaining compliance, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details

• Role: Tax Credit Leasing Consultant

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours and assist prospective residents throughout the leasing process
• Process applications, lease agreements, renewals, and resident documentation
• Verify income and eligibility requirements in accordance with Tax Credit and Affordable Housing guidelines
• Maintain accurate resident files and ensure compliance with program regulations
• Provide outstanding customer service to current and prospective residents
• Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist with resident inquiries
• Support occupancy goals through resident retention and follow-up efforts
• Assist with marketing initiatives and community outreach
• Maintain professionalism while supporting daily office operations

Requirements

• Previous apartment leasing experience preferred
• Tax Credit and Affordable Housing experience required
• Knowledge of income certifications, recertifications, and compliance procedures
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with property management software is a plus
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
