Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. This role oversees tax engagements from planning through completion, mentors staff accountants, manages client relationships, and contributes to the firm's billing and profitability goals. This is an in-office position based in our Dallas office. Key Responsibilities Manage and review individual, business, and/or fiduciary tax returns for accuracy and compliance Develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients Mentor, train, and supervise staff accountants and senior associates, providing feedback and supporting their professional growth Manage client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts Prepare and manage client billing, including monitoring engagement budgets, realization, and timely invoicing Communicate with clients regarding tax notices, deadlines, and planning opportunities Stay current on federal, state, and local tax law changes Collaborate with partners and other managers on firm initiatives and workflow management What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Work-life balance, including reasonable hours especially outside of peak tax season Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with firm match Flexible time off CPE support / continuing education reimbursement Supportive, team-oriented office culture LJB CPA is an equal opportunity employer.
