The Tax Manager will be responsible for managing complex tax engagements, developing innovative tax strategies, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients. The Tax Manager will lead a team of professionals, collaborate with partners, and work closely with clients to optimize tax positions, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive value through proactive tax planning.
Job Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for Constructionm clients on tax matters, providing strategic guidance and solutions.
Advise clients on tax planning opportunities, industry-specific incentives, and credits to minimize liabilities and maximize benefits.
Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for AEC clients.
Ensure compliance with complex, industry-specific tax regulations, including construction-related tax issues.
Manage tax audits and represent clients before tax authorities, ensuring accurate documentation and successful resolution.
Develop and implement advanced tax strategies aligned with client goals and industry trends.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.

Qualifications
CPA preferred.
5+ years of progressive tax experience, with a strong focus on the Construction industry.
Proven track record of managing complex tax engagements and delivering strategic client solutions.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management and staff development.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
