Tax Manager

What You'll Do

• Manage tax engagements from planning through completion for a diverse client base.
• Review complex individual, partnership, S-Corporation, C-Corporation, fiduciary, and nonprofit tax returns.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by providing proactive tax planning and consulting services.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional client service.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop tax staff and senior accountants.
• Review workpapers, provide technical guidance, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Assist with workflow management, scheduling, and engagement planning.
• Stay current on federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the tax department through leadership and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required
• 2+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience within a public accounting firm
• Strong technical knowledge of individual and business taxation
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for mentoring team members and developing future leaders
