Tax Manager

**This position is located in Fairfield, NJ. Relocation or commute is required.**

Successful and growing mid-sized North Jersey peer-reviewed accounting firm looking for highly motivated individuals to join our high-net worth and small to medium sized business accounting practice.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year

$5,000-$10,000 signing bonus

Education: Bachelor's (Required)

Experience: Accounting: 10 years (Required)

License/Certification: CPA (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

· Preparation and review of high net worth individual and small to medium size business tax returns

· Knowledge in gift, estate and tax-exempt entities a plus

· Professionally manage all aspects of the client relationship

· Prepare financial statements

· Auditing experience a plus

· Client communication and supervising firm staff

· Offsite work at the client’s location

Requirements:

· Active CPA License with 15+ years of small to mid-size firm experience

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong analytical and time management skills

· Willingness to travel to clients

· Proficiency in QuickBooks, Accounting/Tax Software, and MS Office products

· Proficiency UltraTax a plus

· Master’s degree in accounting or taxation is a strong plus
