Our client, a tenured public accounting firm, is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead client relationships, manage complex tax engagements, and deliver proactive advisory services to privately held businesses and business owners. - Location: Greater Cincinnati Area (Hybrid and Remote Options Available). Candidates must reside within the Greater Cincinnati metropolitan area.
- Pay Range: $110,000 - $150,000

Job Responsibilities
- Engagement Management: Oversee tax workflow, deadlines, budgets, and communication for business and individual accounts.
- Review & Compliance: Review complex tax returns, including partnerships, S-corps, C-corps, and pass-through entities, ensuring multi-state and local tax compliance.
- Advisory & Planning: Provide year-round strategic tax planning, entity structure consulting, and proactive business advisory support.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, develop, and review the work of tax staff and seniors while collaborating directly with firm leadership.

Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.
- Active CPA or EA license.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- Solid technical knowledge of federal tax laws and return reviews.
Preferred:
- Experience with privately held businesses, pass-through entities, and multi-state / SALT considerations.
- Proven track record in client relationship management and staff mentorship.
