Job Details

We are seeking a Tax Manager with strong public accounting experience in either HNW/UHNW individual taxation, partnership taxation, or both.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Tax Manager who enjoys technically challenging work and meaningful client interaction but is looking for a healthier, more sustainable public accounting environment.

Responsibilities include:

Manage tax engagements from planning through completion
Prepare and/or review complex individual, partnership and business tax returns
Provide tax planning and compliance services to sophisticated clients
Work with HNW/UHNW individuals, families and/or partnership and investment entities
Research and resolve federal and state tax issues
Assist with complex tax planning and entity structuring
Review work prepared by Senior and Staff Tax Accountants
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior professionals
Manage client deadlines, budgets and deliverables
Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and planning opportunities
Work closely with Partners on complex client engagements
Identify opportunities to improve processes and deliver a high level of client service
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
6+ years of public accounting tax experience
Strong experience in either:
HNW/UHNW individual taxation, or
Partnership taxation
Experience with complex tax returns and multi-state taxation
Strong technical tax research and analytical abilities
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Experience reviewing work and mentoring junior professionals
CPA preferred
