Tax Manager

A top accounting, tax, and advisory firm has partnered with our team to find a high quality Tax Manager in the North Charlotte, NC area.

This firm works with local and regional business clients as well as high profile personal clients for a variety of tax and advisory needs.

Position Summary and Duties:

-Work independently and with the management staff to work with an assigned group of clients across multiple industries

-Advise clients on multiple tax issues, planning, research and compliance

-Prep and review tax returns for multiple entities including C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships, and Trusts

-Work with key clients for business advisory and tax decisions

-Supervise and train junior tax personnel

-Help when needed for local business events networking and fostering relationships

Background amp; Experience:

-5-7 years of tax prep and review experience with various entities, C-Corps, S-Corps, etc.

-Bachelor#39;s degree in accounting (or equivalent)

-Masters in tax or accounting preferred

-CPA is not required but highly appreciated

-High level of tax skills, organization, and analytical skills

-Work in a tight deadline environment

Pay and benefits:

• $115,000-$165,000 salary annually, commensurate with experience
