ABOUT THE ROLE

A growing public accounting firm is seeking an International Tax Manager to support a diverse client base with complex cross-border tax compliance, structuring, and advisory needs. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with multinational businesses, foreign investors, high-net-worth individuals, and privately held companies on international tax planning, compliance, and transaction structuring matters.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical international tax expertise, experience advising clients on global tax issues, and the ability to manage client relationships in a collaborative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review and oversee complex international tax compliance filings, including Forms 5471, 5472, FBAR, FATCA, and related reporting requirements
  • Advise clients on international tax planning, cross-border structuring, tax treaty utilization, and offshore investment strategies
  • Support tax-efficient structuring of international transactions and repatriation planning initiatives
  • Manage and deliver international tax consulting projects across a variety of industries
  • Serve as a key client contact and provide guidance on evolving international tax regulations and compliance requirements
  • Mentor and develop junior tax professionals while reviewing work product and providing technical guidance
  • Partner with firm leadership to support business development and growth initiatives within the international tax practice

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field;Master's in Taxation preferred
  • CPA required
  • 7+ years of international tax experience within public accounting
  • Strong knowledge of foreign tax provisions and international tax compliance requirements
  • Experience with Forms 5471, 5472, FBAR, FATCA, and related international reporting obligations
  • Experience advising clients on cross-border structuring, tax treaties, offshore investments, and international tax planning
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and oversee multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Spanish language proficiency highly preferred but not required
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, foreign investors, and international business structures is highly preferred
