Position Summary Lead complex tax engagements, review tax returns, conduct tax research, mentor junior staff, manage client relationships, and work closely with firm leadership.
Key Responsibilities - Review complex federal and multi-state tax returns including Forms 1040, 1120, 1120-S, 1065, and 1041.
- Perform advanced tax research and planning.
- Manage and maintain strong client relationships.
- Oversee tax engagements from start to finish.
- Supervise, mentor, and review junior tax professionals.
- Collaborate with partners on complex tax matters and client strategies.
- Participate in client meetings and provide technical guidance.
Qualifications & Requirements - 6 10+ years of public accounting tax experience.
- Active CPA license required.
- Strong experience across major return types.
- Demonstrated expertise in tax research and planning.
- Experience with federal and multi-state taxation.
- Experience serving closely held businesses and high-net-worth clients.
- Stable employment history preferred.
- Master's degree in Taxation is a plus.
