We are currently seeking a Tax Manager to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. The successful candidate will have an extensive background in federal and state tax, tax planning, tax returns, and experience handling high net worth corporations. Experience in the real estate, construction, or manufacturing industries is considered a significant plus. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is experienced in managing multiple client engagements and can deliver results in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Tax Manager, you will:
1. Oversee and manage multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax services for our high net worth clients.
2. Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients.
3. Manage, direct, and monitor multiple client services teams on client engagements.
4. Plan, execute, direct, and complete tax projects in a wide variety of industries.
5. Provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients.
6. Interact closely with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services.
7. Develop and manage a high-performing team. Train, motivate, and lead team members by example.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in tax legislation to ensure client readiness and compliance.
9. Develop clear and concise written correspondence and communicate verbally in a professional, personable, and concise manner.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager or public accountant role.
3. Strong experience with federal and state tax, tax planning, and tax returns.
4. Experience managing high net worth corporations.
5. Proven leadership skills in managing client engagements and leading teams.
6. Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. Industry experience in real estate, construction, or manufacturing is considered a plus.
9. A highly motivated and positive attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges.
10. Proficiency in tax software and technology.
