POSITION: TAX MANAGER (PARTNER TRACK) LOCATION: BERGEN COUNTY, NJ COMPENSATION: UP TO $250K DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE + PARTNERSHIP PERKS
Our client is a prestigious, multi-location wealth management and financial services firm, ranked in the top 1% of CPA firms nationwide, seeking a full-time Tax Manager/Tax Partner. Candidates must have a CPA and extensive expertise in public accounting. QUALIFICATIONS:
CPA required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
7+ years of progressive public accounting experience, with a strong focus on high-net-worth individual, trust, and estate taxation
Proven track record managing, growing, and retaining a substantial client book
Strong technical knowledge of complex individual, trust, and fiduciary tax matters
Demonstrated leadership experience, including staff supervision and mentorship
Excellent client relationship management skills, with the ability to take over and retain an existing high-net-worth client base
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assume ownership of an existing $2 million+ book of business as a retiring partner transitions out
Review and oversee complex tax returns and planning for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates
Serve as primary relationship owner for an established client base, strengthening and expanding those relationships
Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services tailored to high-net-worth clients
Supervise, mentor, and develop tax staff, overseeing workflow and quality control
Collaborate with firm partners on client service strategy and practice growth
