Tax Manager / Senior Tax Accountant

Arkansas Talent Group is proud to be partnering with one of Arkansas most Prominent and Respectable CPA Firms to help them find a candidate at various levels in their tax department including Tax Managers and Senior Tax Accountants! The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax preparation and planning, as well as a strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Duties would include:

• Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
• Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Lead engagements throughout all phases of accounting including tax research, tax planning and preparation of financial statements
• Develop tax planning strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits
• Assist clients with tax-related inquiries and provide expert advice on tax matters
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax-related issues
• Collaborate with other members of the tax team and firm leadership to deliver exceptional service and value to clients
• Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate updates to clients and colleagues

Qualifications:

• Bachelors / Masters in Accounting
• CPA or in process of completing CPA
• 2-7 years of Tax Experience in a CPA Firm
• Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Experience working with various size businesses across various industries preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members
