Description
CPA firm a Tax Manager or Director to join our growing Private Client Services practice. This role will focus on providing tax compliance, planning, and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses. The ideal candidate will be a strategic advisor with strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a client-first mindset.
Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage tax compliance and consulting engagements for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and closely held entities.
Review complex tax returns, including individual (1040), partnerships, S-corporations, trusts, estates, and gift tax returns.
Provide advanced tax planning strategies related to income, estate, gift, and wealth transfer taxes.
Manage, mentor, and develop tax managers and staff; review work and provide technical guidance.
Participate in business development efforts, including networking, proposal development, and client presentations.

Qualifications
Must be able to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
Active CPA license or EA certification required.
MST, JD, or LLM in Taxation a plus.
7-10 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals, family offices, or private client services.
Deep technical expertise in individual, partnership, trust, and estate taxation.
Experience working with complex, multi-entity structures and high-volume K-1 environments preferred.
