We’re seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join a well-established regional CPA and advisory firm that emphasizes professional growth, client service, and technical excellence.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Plan, supervise, and review complex tax engagements for:
Corporations, partnerships, and individuals
Fiduciary and trust returns
Multi-state filings and specialized compliance areas
Conduct and document thorough tax research and analysis
Stay current with IRS, state, and local tax law developments
Respond to tax authority inquiries and support clients through examinations or notices
Mentor, train, and support the development of tax staff
Provide constructive performance feedback and lead by example
Support business development by cultivating client relationships and identifying new opportunities
Partner with firm leadership to provide insight and contribute to service enhancements

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
8+ years of tax experience in public accounting preferred
CPA license required (or actively pursuing licensure where applicable)
Strong technical understanding of federal and state tax codes with proven research skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadline-driven engagements
Proficiency with tax software such as CCH Axcess Tax, CCH Engagement, and Microsoft Office tools is preferred
Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and a client service mindset
