Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a growing Tax firm outside of Boston with their search for a Tax Preparer. Our client is a fully integrated firm providing tax and accounting services to a variety of small-mid size privately held clients.
Tax Preparer Job Description:
- Prepare and file individual, business, and corporate tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Review financial records and apply deductions, credits, and tax liabilities.
- Advise clients on tax-saving strategies and planning.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Use tax software to prepare and file returns.
- Communicate with tax authorities to resolve discrepancies or audits.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all tax-related matters.
- Assist with tax planning and provide post-filing support.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in tax software.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
