Tax Accountant / Tax Preparer
A dynamic CPA firm in Southern California is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their team. This role is based outside of Del Mar and would be a mostly remote role for candidates anywhere in California. The role involves a variety of tax responsibilities, from preparation and review to strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns for small- mid size corporations
- Conduct tax research and analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities
- Assist with tax planning and compliance strategies
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to provide exceptional service
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA or EA license required
- 4+ years of public accounting experience
- Strong technical skills in tax and accounting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
