The Opportunity

Jebran & Abraham, PC is seeking an experienced Tax Senior who is ready to take greater ownership of client engagements while continuing to develop their technical and leadership skills.


In this role, you'll work directly with clients, prepare and review tax returns, assist with tax planning, and serve as a resource to developing team members.

This is an ideal opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys the close-knit environment of a local firm but wants meaningful responsibility, client exposure, and room to advance their career.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and small to medium-sized businesses
  • Handle individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax engagements
  • Manage multiple tax engagements and coordinate work to ensure accurate, timely completion
  • Perform tax research and assist with tax planning strategies
  • Identify tax issues, opportunities, and potential risks during engagements
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters, documentation, deadlines, and planning opportunities
  • Review workpapers and returns prepared by associates and provide constructive feedback
  • Mentor and support junior tax professionals
  • Assist with responses to federal and state tax notices and inquiries
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients' businesses and financial objectives
  • Build lasting client relationships through responsive, personalized service
  • Stay current on changes to tax laws and regulations

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Approximately 3-5+ years of public accounting or relevant tax experience
  • Strong experience with individual and closely held business tax returns
  • Experience preparing and/or reviewing Forms 1040, 1065, 1120-S, and 1120
  • CPA or EA preferred; candidates actively pursuing either credential will also be considered
  • Strong tax research and analytical abilities
  • Experience managing multiple engagements and deadlines
  • Strong client communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability and willingness to mentor junior staff
  • High attention to detail combined with the ability to see the bigger picture for clients
  • Desire to continue growing into greater client management and leadership responsibilities
