Role: Tax Senior
Location:Bellevue, WA (Onsite)
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 DOE
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Senior to join our growing public accounting team in Bellevue, WA. This role is ideal for a junior tax professional who enjoys working directly with clients, reviewing staff work, and managing multiple engagements.
The Tax Senior will prepare and review a variety of tax returns, collaborate closely with clients, and support the development of junior staff while ensuring high-quality service and timely delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for:
Individuals (1040)
Partnerships (1065)
S Corporations (1120S)
Review work prepared by junior staff and provide guidance, training, and constructive feedback
Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters, documentation requests, planning opportunities, and project updates
Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy
Assist with tax planning and research projects for a diverse client base
Identify process improvements and contribute to overall team efficiency
Stay current on tax regulations and industry developments
Qualifications
2+ years of public accounting tax experience required
Solid experience with individual and passthrough entity returns (1040, 1065, and 1120S)
Strong client communication and relationship management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
Preferred Traits
CPA license or CPA- track candidate (a plus)
Experience with closely held businesses and/or HNWI (a plus)
Experience with trusts and estates (a plus)
Experience working with client industries surrounding professional services, real estate, or automotive (a plus)
Experience reviewing staff work
