Tax Senior
Location: Fort Myers, FL (On-site) Salary Range: $130,000–$150,000
Position Overview
This full-service tax, accounting, and consulting firm seeks a Tax Senior to prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, high-net-worth clients, and businesses. The role combines technical tax expertise with client advisory services and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns (individual, C-Corporation, S-Corporation, partnership, trust, and estate)
Manage multiple tax engagements while meeting deadlines and client expectations
Provide tax planning, research, and advisory services
Identify tax-saving opportunities and develop client-specific strategies
Support clients with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Collaborate with accounting and advisory team members
Stay current on tax law changes at all levels
Mentor junior and staff-level tax professionals
Required Qualifications
3–7 years of public accounting or tax experience
Strong experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns
Expertise in corporate and partnership tax preparation
Knowledge of partnerships, corporations, trusts, estates, and high-net-worth individual taxation
Understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations
