Tax Senior
An established, independent public accounting firm in Western Massachusetts is adding a Tax Senior to a tight-knit, growing team. You'll prepare and review returns across corporate, partnership, individual, and nonprofit clients, and interface directly with those clients — not through three layers of management. This is a small-firm seat where your work is visible, your ideas get heard, and the path to manager and ownership is real.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and review corporate, partnership, individual, and nonprofit returns
- Work directly with clients on their questions, planning, and year-round needs
- Support and review the work of more junior staff
- Contribute to tax planning ahead of year-end and busy-season deadlines
- Grow into specialty areas (estate & trust, and others) with firm-provided training
What You Bring
- 5-7 years of tax experience in public accounting
- Solid grounding across corporate, partnership, and individual returns
- Comfort talking directly with clients and owning your work
