    Role Overview

    As a Tax Staff Accountant, you'll work alongside experienced CPAs serving individuals, businesses, estates, trusts, and nonprofit organizations. You'll gain hands-on experience preparing tax returns while building technical knowledge, professional confidence, and meaningful client relationships.

    In this role, you will:

    • Prepare federal and state tax returns for a variety of clients
    • Gather, organize, and review client tax and financial information
    • Communicate with clients regarding routine tax questions and document requests
    • Work closely with mentors and team members on client engagements
    • Progress toward CPA licensure and long-term career goals

    This role is ideal for recent or upcoming accounting graduates looking to launch their careers with a firm that values mentorship, professional development, and long-term growth.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or nearing completion)
    • CPA candidate or intent to pursue licensure
    • Public accounting internship experience (Preferred)
    • Willingness to travel and work additional hours during busy seasons
